A zero-sum view — assuming that progress in the rest of the world is a loss for us — creates a fait accompli, leading to more barriers and stifled possibilities. In the end, we all lose (Judy Estrin). This year we want to explore and describe what will be required to reignite the spark of innovation in business, education, and government - ensuring Bulgaria`s long-term success in the global economy.
Our national imperative should be innovative and critical thinking, interactive leadership style, collaboration not only in science and technology, but also in future world design.
When you shut off questioning, you constrain thinking. The prolific innovation in the 1970s and 1980s came from people who were educated in the 1960s — a time when people actively questioned authority. Let’s argue now.
